Graphite electrode rod is a conductive material made of natural graphite or graphite coke. It has the characteristics of heat resistance, corrosion resistance and good electrical conductivity. It is an important electrode material.
Application fields
The main application fields of graphite electrode rods include metallurgy, chemical industry, carbon materials and other fields.
1. In the field of metallurgy, graphite electrode rods are important components of smelting equipment such as electric arc furnaces and induction furnaces. At present, most electric arc furnaces at home and abroad use graphite electrode rods as the main electrode material for steelmaking and ironmaking.
2. In the chemical industry, graphite electrode rods are widely used in electrolytic cells, electric heating furnaces, halogen electrolysis and other fields. Its good corrosion resistance can ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
3. In the field of carbon materials, graphite electrode rods are used as important raw materials to manufacture high-end carbon materials, such as graphite electrodes, carbon fibers, etc.
4. Graphite electrode rods specially designed for monocrystalline silicon manufacturers and have production patents
